Ruben is the owner and president of Vanguard Legal Solutions. With over 20 years of experience working with the legal community, both in San Diego and abroad, one of the main reason Ruben started VLS was to be able to have the ability to provide individualized service to each of his clients based on their specific needs or requirements. His goal is to continue to provide that unique individualized service while also maintaining one-on-one relationships with current and new clients. His goal isn’t to be the largest legal service provider, but definitely be the best! When Ruben isn’t at work, you can find him playing basketball, hiking, or traveling.

Elisa Meza

Office Manager

Her contributions have significantly enhanced our reprographics and records department. Leveraging her extensive expertise in a diverse range of programs and software, Elisa and her team have played a pivotal role in meeting the unique document management requirements of each client.

Sarai Santos

eFiling Specialist

Sarai recently joined the Vanguard team, bringing precision and calm to every step of the legal process. As our eFiling specialist, she also assists with document preparation and proofs of service, making sure everything runs smoothly and on time. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, painting with watercolors, and discovering new places—always finding beauty in the details.

Mario Hernandez

Mario Hernandez is one of the most recent members of our team and a top notch provider to our clients. In less than a year, he has surpassed our company’s expectations as a representative in Los Angeles and Orange County. His interests include watching baseball (Go Padres!), hanging out at the beach, and enjoying the great outdoors with his family.

Angel Najera

Sales/Customer Representative

Vanguard's youngest employee, Angel Najera is 21 years old and has been working with Vanguard since 2021. A day of work for Angel might include processing and retrieving records, service of process on subjects and facilities, trial binders, helping our clients with conversions and proper digital presentation of court exhibits and helping with pending invoices. Angel enjoys getting to know all aspects of the business because it allows him to give better promotion of Vanguard to new clients. In his free time Angel enjoys working out, practicing MMA, attending college and spending time with his mother and siblings and his dogs.

Stephanie Ruiz

Records Retrieval

Stephanie recently joined Vanguard as part of the Records Retrieval Department, where she assists with preparing subpoenas and authorizations. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks
in the woods and spending quality time with her family. She also has a passion for gardening, traveling, and exploring new places.

Mina works in the Records Department, managing the preparation and handling of authorizations and subpoenas. She maintains smooth document processing, supporting timely outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys staying active by working out, exploring new books to read, and spending quality time with her sisters and pets. Whether it's hitting the gym, diving into a good book, or enjoying moments with loved ones, she finds balance and joy in the simple things.
